Background

Faculty of Agriculture Farm, formerly composed of various entities were combined to provide teaching, research and services in agriculture for senior faculty and university. Faculty of Agriculture Farm now placed under the management of the Deputy Dean of Development, Industry and Community Network and is headed by the Chief Agricultural Officer assisted by the Agriculture Officers and other supporting staffs.

Objective

The establishment of the Faculty of Agriculture Farm has the following objectives:

• To support teaching and learning by providing and managing the facilities and requirements of practical training in agriculture
• To assist in the operation of the courses offered by the Faculty / Department especially involving practical training
• To support research activities by providing services and research facilities on the farm and research station
• To support development and advisory services in agriculture
• To provide recreation and leisure activities to senior faculty

Mission and Vision

The mission of FP Farm is to provide quality education, conduct relevant research, and actively engage in the agricultural community. We strive to:
- Enhance students' proficiency in agriculture.
- Contribute to the advancement of sustainable agricultural practices.
- Generate new knowledge in agriculture.
