Bachelor of Horticultural Science is a full time program of study, which emphasizes on the fundamental understanding of scientific, technical and management aspects in the field of horticulture. Students will be equipped with skills in techniques and practices in horticulture, which will enable them to translate knowledge gained into application of modern technologies in horticultural industry for the benefit of mankind. Courses in this program include basic sciences, applied biology, soil science, economics and management, and communication. Aspects of resource management, planning and evaluation of horticultural business are integral components of the program. In addition to on campus training students will be exposed to real situation in horticultural activities while undertaking compulsory practical training in horticulture and related industry.

A pass in the STPM Examination with the minimum of:
Taken the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) with minimum of Band 1.
