Bachelor of Agriculture (Animal Science) aims to produce competent animal science graduates who are able to apply the knowledge and skills gained in planning, management and research to improve quality and competitiveness of the animal industry. The program will equip the graduates with up-to-date knowledge and skills in animal production science, enabling them to work with public, corporate and private agencies involved in service, research, extension and education of livestock production and management. They shall also be able to carry out modern and commercial livestock agro-industry activities as an enterprise, or pursue post-graduate studies. The curriculum covers various disciplines in animal production science and includes courses in management, economics and agricultural marketing. Students are also requires to undergo industrial trainings and conduct a research project in animal science.
