AIM IN BRIEF

 

The Agricultural Institute of Malaysia (AIM) was inaugurated in 1995. AIM is the foremost professional body concerned with agriculture in Malaysia. Its members are drawn from government departments, statutory organizations, research institutes, universities, banks, plantations, and commercial firms.


OBJECTIVE

To foster a better understanding and appreciation of agriculture that will lead to growth and development of Malaysian agriculture


VISION

  • To be a leading professional body championing sustainable agriculture in Malaysia and globally

  • To serve as a regulatory body for Malaysian agriculture professionals

MISSION

To promote sustainable agriculture through professionalism and knowledge-based technology


GOALS

  1. To enhance the image of agriculture as a profession

  2. To establish strategic linkage with other professional societies

  3. To carry out public outreach programs
